These songs were composed for the broadcast of eight episodes made by RAI  -Department of School Education for Adults or D.S.E. - called: “OPEN  WINDOW". It was  directed and organized by the RAI director Marco Procopio and the included reports related  United Europe and the countries that were part of it.  Four of these interesting episodes, filmed in Italy, Spain, France and Germany, were the first  part of the show. The CD title “INCHIESTA” ("Investigation") is already explicit.   The song “INDAGINE” ("Inquiry"), is a "slow" interim in which the theme of a soft blown flute  and one of the first monophonic synthesizers fits a delicate harmonic range of voices, a base  of bass, drums and electric guitar work. This simple and well designed song offers the listener  a calm atmosphere, but never sleepy, which sharpens the faculties of thinking of someone  who is collecting the various  informations for investigations.   “LA METROPOLI” ("The Metropolis") offers a glimpse of the place where, potentially, occur  criminal episodes. It is a violent and percussive song in which horns along with percussion  emphasize the harshness of the place. “IL PORTO” ("The Port"), by contrast, is set in a quiet,  sleepy and lazy place, where everything is motionless except for the pitching of the boat.  Another song, in contrast with the previous one, is “IL CORRISPONDENTE” ("the  corresponding") where the music points out, in a constantly and swirling tonal and rhythmic  movement,  the frenzy of a reporter who must frantically chase news, before someone steals  them to him. Musically astute and finely ironic is the song “IL COLLETTIVO” ("The  Collective") where the voices of the vocalists are superimposed on one another in a fun and  rhythmic counterpoint, imitation of the overlapping of voices coming from an agitated meeting  at which everyone wants to have their say, obtaining at least in this case, a perfect harmony  of purpose. Maestro Alessandro Alessandroni, with these compositions, has got the meaning  and essence of the word "investigation" , musically describing the situations, concepts,  places, and characters with his professionalism, his experience, and the great genius that  have always distinguished him.  I brani musicali facenti parte di questo cd, portano la firma del grande, eclettico M°  Alessandro Alessandroni. Questi brani sono stati inseriti in una trasmissione di otto puntate  realizzata dalla RAI - Dipartimento Scolastico Educativo per Adulti o D.S.E.- che si chiamava:  "FINESTRA APERTA", era diretta e organizzata dal regista RAI Marco Procopio e i reportage  che vi erano inseriti riguardavano l'Europa Unita e i Paesi che ne facevano parte.  Il titolo del CD in questione "INCHIESTA", è già di per se tutto un programma.  Il brano “INDAGINE”, è uno “slow” interlocutorio nel quale, su una delicata fascia armonica di  voci, una base di basso, batteria e gli interventi di chitarra elettrica, si inserisce il tema di un  morbido flauto soffiato e uno dei primi sintetizzatori monofonici. Questo brano semplice e ben  congegnato, offre all'ascoltatore una atmosfera calma, ma mai sonnolenta, che acuisce la  facoltà del pensare, propria di chi sta raccogliendo le varie informazioni per le investigazioni.  “LA METROPOLI” offre uno spaccato del luogo nel quale, potenzialmente, avvengono fatti  delittuosi o episodi a dir poco malavitosi. E' un brano violento e percussivo nel quale le  trombe insieme alle percussioni, sottolineano la durezza del luogo. “IL PORTO”, al contrario,  è ambientato in un posto tranquillo, sonnolente e pigro dove tutto è immobile tranne il  beccheggio delle barche. Altro brano, in antitesi con quello precedente, è “IL  CORRISPONDENTE” dove la musica sottolinea, in un vorticoso e continuo movimento  timbrico e ritmico, la frenesia di un reporter che deve inseguire freneticamente le notizie,  prima che qualcuno gliele sottragga. Musicalmente sagace e finemente ironico è il brano  “COLLETTIVO” nel quale le voci dei vocalist si sovrappongono l'una sull'altra, in un divertente  e ritmato contrappunto, imitando l'accavallarsi delle voci provenienti da una concitata riunione  nella quale tutti voglio dire la loro, ottenendo perlomeno in questo caso, una perfetta armonia  di intenti. Il M° Alessandro Alessandroni con queste sue composizioni, ha perfettamente colto  il significato e l'essenza stessa della parola “INCHIESTA” descrivendo musicalmente le  situazioni, i concetti, i luoghi, e i personaggi con la sua professionalità, la sua esperienza, e la  grande genialità che lo hanno da sempre contraddistinto.
