CMT 10014          PRISMA SONORO Il poliedrico M° Alessandro Alessandroni compositore, direttore d'orchestra e arrangiatore, tra le  tante innumerevoli attività che ancora oggi esercita, è anche mandolinista, chitarrista,  fisarmonicista, sitarista, whistlerista, pianista, ed è un musicista molto noto al pubblico  discografico, cinematografico e televisivo internazionale. Il Maestro, ha al suo attivo le  composizioni e la direzione di oltre 50 colonne sonore di films e documentari, inoltre ha  collaborato alla realizzazione di innumerevoli brani musicali, riscuotendo larghi consensi di  pubblico. Ma l'attività musicale del M° Alessandroni non ha mai conosciuto soste. Infatti durante  il periodo in cui il regista Sergio Leone dirigeva uno dopo l'altro i suoi famosi films dei quali  citiamo quì alcuni titoli: Per un pugno di dollari, Il buono, il brutto e il cattivo, Per qualche dollaro  in più, C'era una volta il West, Giù la Testa, ecc. e affidava al M° Ennio Morricone l'incarico di  comporre e dirigere le musiche di commento dei suoi films, nelle sale di registrazione faceva la  sua comparsa un trio che in poco tempo diventò famoso, composto dal M° Alessandroni per la  chitarra e il fischio, Franco De Gemini per l'armonica a bocca e Edda Dell'Orso per il canto, i  quali durante le registrazioni, si alternavano sia come solisti che come accompagnamento  all'orchestra. Affermatissimo nel campo della musica leggera, il M° Alessandroni è stato anche il  fondatore e il direttore del famoso complesso corale: "I CANTORI MODERNI", si è esibito e si  esibisce ancora oggi, in concerti dal vivo, alla radio e in televisione di tutta l'Europa, tra cui BBC  World Service e Live Broadcast UK ed è stato menzionato per la sua professionalità e la sua  inventiva, in innumerevoli giornali e riviste di tutto il mondo. In questo cd, che deriva dall'lp  "PRISMA SONORO" stampato negli anni '70 dalla Cometa e che contiene anche dei brani  inediti, gli strumenti melodici sono chiamati ad assumere un particolare ruolo solistico  nell'esposizione dei vari temi e contribuiscono a creare delle sonorità che l'Autore/Arrangiatore  ha cercato (con notevole successo), di rendere interessanti e molto particolari. Il contenuto  artistico, il linguaggio tematico-armonico e lo sviluppo del dialogo strumentale dei vari brani,  tendono a creare nell'ascoltatore, delle piacevoli sensazioni moderne e romantiche.   Multifaceted Maestro Alessandro Alessandroni: composer, conductor, and arranger. Among the  various activities that he still performs to this day, he is also a mandolinist, guitarist,  fisarmonicist, sitarist, whistler, and pianist. Most of all, he is a musician, highly renowned in  international TV and cinema. The Maestro has composed and conducted over 50 film scores  and documentaries, and has collaborated in the production of many songs, achieving great  success. The activity of the Maestro seems restless, especially during the period in which  director Sergio Leone was shooting one after the other his most famous movies, including A  Fistful of Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, For a Few Dollars More, Once Upon a Time  in the West, and A Fistful of Dynamite. The director gave Maestro Ennio Morricone the  opportunity to compose the scores for these movies, and in the recording sessions, a very  special trio was formed that soon after became very famous: Alessandro Alessandroni as  whistler and guitarist, Franco De Gemini on harmonica, and Edda Dell’Orso’s vocals, the three  alternating their performances as soloists and members of the orchestra. Very successful in the  pop music field, Maestro Alessandroni is the founder of the Cantori Moderni choir. He still  performs publicly as well as on radio and TV throughout Europe, and has been commended for  his professionalism and originality all over the world. On this CD, which features previously-  unreleased tracks in addition to the contents of the Prisma Sonoro LP that was released by  Cometa in the 70s, the instruments are played in a very peculiar way, like solo instruments, and  contribute to create a sound typical of that which earned the composer a great degree of  success. The arrangements, the harmonic language, and the instrumental dialogue of the  various cues combine to create in the listener romantic sensations both lovely and  contemporary.
